valley forge: stone scream

This face is part of the Memorial Arch at Valley Forge - I am not exactly sure what it is supposed to represent but it definitely looked like it was crying out in pain or distress.....

Is anyone crying for help? God is listening,
ready to rescue you.

I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.
