quilt show: sewing machinePosted by Chris (South Jersey, United States) on 18 May 2009 in Art & Design and Portfolio. My wife and I are off to the International Quilt Market in Pittsburgh, PA this week. This is a trade show for owners of quilt and fabric stores to come and buy from designers (like my wife) and fabric vendors. Since we are off at the quilt show, I thought I would show you pictures from the Spring Blossom Quilt show in Lancaster PA that my wife was at earlier this year. This restored sewing machine is sold to be used today, but I loved the history of it and thinking about all the fine workmanship it has been a part of.... It wasn't so long ago that we ourselves were stupid and stubborn, dupes of sin, ordered every which way by our glands, going around with a chip on our shoulder, hated and hating back. But when God, our kind and loving Savior God, stepped in, he saved us from all that. It was all his doing; we had nothing to do with it. He gave us a good bath, and we came out of it new people, washed inside and out by the Holy Spirit. Our Savior Jesus poured out new life so generously. God's gift has restored our relationship with him and given us back our lives. And there's more life to come—an eternity of life! You can count on this. I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images. I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you! Please visit my wife's blog - The Noble Wife
