Posted by Chris (South Jersey, United States) on 28 December 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

Another shot of the aftermath from the small ice storm that we had last weekend.

This shot marks 1 year since I posted my first shot on Am3 - although I haven't posted every day I am happy that I have continued to post here and to learn as I take more and more photographs. I have made some good "cyber" friends and been able to share comments with people all over the world. This truly is a wonderful community and I look forward to many more posts and comments in the months (and years!) ahead.

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:8-9

I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.

I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!
