sunset geese

Posted by Chris (South Jersey, United States) on 15 December 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

This was actually taken on Thanksgiving this year, and I just got around to editing and posting here. We had dinner at my parents, and afterwards I went out to walk around the small pond behind their house(trying to walk off the big dinner!), where I encountered these geese.

Oh, blessed be God!
He didn't go off and leave us.
He didn't abandon us defenseless,
helpless as a rabbit in a pack of snarling dogs.
We've flown free from their fangs,
free of their traps, free as a bird.
Their grip is broken;
we're free as a bird in flight.
God's strong name is our help,
the same God who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 124:6-8

I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.

I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!
