fort mott: fall berries

Posted by Chris (South Jersey, United States) on 17 November 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

Fort Mott is a wonderful state park that encompasses a former fort that was built on the Delaware River to defend Philadelphia and the upper Delaware Bay. There are nature trails, the remains of the fort, and a ferry that transports visitors to For Delaware. Even though it is a wonderful piece of history and has been restoring more of the former fort, it was one of the State Parks in NJ that was supposed to close this year when our governor announced budget cutbacks. Thankfully, the park remains open, and we can still enjoy the fall colors on warm afternoons.

God will save the day. He'll rescue them.
They'll become like sheep, gentle and soft,
Or like gemstones in a crown,
catching all the colors of the sun.
Then how they'll shine! shimmer! glow!
the young men robust, the young women lovely!

I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.

I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!
