valley forge: the valley of the shadow

Posted by Chris (South Jersey, United States) on 27 October 2008 in Architecture and Portfolio.

Another view of the National Memorial Arch at Valley Forge National Park. The arch memorializes the harsh winter that the Continental Army endured and the perseverance that they showed in such trying circumstances. They entered this valley as a shattered group of soldiers, but left it as a retrained and restored army, ready to continue the battle for freedom.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Psalm 23:4

I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.

I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!
