county fair - goat

Posted by
Chris (South Jersey, United States) on 23 August 2008 in Animal & Insect.

One of the big highlights of the Salem County Fair is of course the animals. My wife and daughters are very fond of the goats, and she was especially taken with this little Nigerian Dwarf goat.

Know your sheep by name;
carefully attend to your flocks;
(Don't take them for granted;
possessions don't last forever, you know.)
And then, when the crops are in
and the harvest is stored in the barns,
You can knit sweaters from lambs' wool,
and sell your goats for a profit;
There will be plenty of milk and meat
to last your family through the winter.

I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.

I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!
