Jesus said, "You're asking the wrong question. You're looking for someone to blame. There is no such cause-effect here. Look instead for what God can do. We need to be energetically at work for the One who sent me here, working while the sun shines. When night falls, the workday is over. For as long as I am in the world, there is plenty of light. I am the world's Light." John 9:3-5
I am on vacation for a few days and will not be able to comment on your pictures - thanks for stopping by and I will try to catch up when I get back. I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.
I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!

@~Kylie~: Thank you very much....
Chris, this is an amazing shot. A pink sun, wow. Is this what it really looked like or did you do some enhancing? Whatever, it is very beautiful. Ps. I think you are becoming a great photographer.

@Marion: Thank you very much Marion - you are too kind. The sun was indeed a little pink - I did not do any post processing on this image (except to straighten horizon and crop a bit).
Cool work, beautiful!

@Stefan: Thank you very much...
I see a bit of graininess, not usually in your photos, so that attests to the low light and the FASCINATING coloration. Looking at the brightness of the sun often skews the colors and I'm often surprised with what I see when looking at the photo on the computer. I'd truly love to live closer to the water where I could see sunrises or sunsets on a regular basis.

@Judy: Thanks Judy - I think the grain is from the low light and the cropping I did.... I love the water as well, and our vacations there are always fun. I also get to see some pretty nice sunsets from my hosue since I live on a hill and am surrounded by farmland.
Breathtaking. Perfect verse to go with it as well. I agree with Judy...a lot of grain for what I typically see from you. With ISO 400 and dim light it happens. I actually like the effect here...adds a bit of mystery to the final scene.

@Tracey: Thank you very much Tracey - this version of that verse really caught my eye as well (I love The Message because of that).
Love the pink sun! Fabulous colors!

Umm, I forgot. Couldn't you have put a little "tilt" on the horizon, just for me? Hahahahaha!
