Being on the eastern side of the Chesapeake Bay, we usually have some pretty good sunsets. Here my eldest daughter walks in the water as the sun sets over the bay.
The moon marks off the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down. You bring darkness, it becomes night, and all the beasts of the forest prowl. How many are your works, O LORD! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. Psalm 104:19-20,24
ps - I think this is my 200th Am3 post - can't believe it is that many, but I have a long way to go to catch up to some of you!!
I am on vacation for a few days and will not be able to comment on your pictures - thanks for stopping by and I will try to catch up when I get back. I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.
I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!

How wonderful this is - a lovely silhouette, Chris. I wonder what she was thinking about as she walked along. Probably the new things ahead of her - missing her family - and all the love that surrounds her!

Very nice photo! I like the silhouette against the lovely sunset. The pole in the water complements the composition. The reflection of the sun comes straight at your daughter, highlighting her as the main subject. Her position is pensive. Lovely.
