Taken at my daughter's graduation party, this is our friend's son Michael - he was intrigued by his reflection in the balloon.
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 1 Corinthians 13:11-12
I am on vacation for a few days and will not be able to comment on your pictures - thanks for stopping by and I will try to catch up when I get back. I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.
I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!

@Ekaputra Tupamahu: Thank you very much...
Terrific candid portrait, Chris ... showing the wonder and joy of childhood. I always appreciate these words of Paul's ... they remind me that the journey to discover truth never ends in this earthly life.

@Ron: Thank you Ron - I am a fan of this chapter (as are many others) in Corinthians - a wonderful bit of scripture that speaks to us as well today as when it was written....
great shot! I love his expression... well done Chris. Also I like that you put those passages, God bless :-)

Oh, my word, Chris ... this is a WINNER if there ever was one. The thumbnail was top-right on the community page when I opened up and I just clicked on it w/o even knowing whose photo it was/is.
CONGRATULATIONS on this fantastic capture!

@Judy: Thank you Judy - I will admit I was pretty happy when I looked at this on the computer and realized what I had captured - I usually struggle with "people" shots but this one "worked" really well. I have sent a copy to Michael's parents and asked permission to post him on my blog - I think they like the shot as well.
If this is a WINNER - what did I win? ;-) Thank you again for your kind words.....
PS: I think Michael's parents are going to want a poster-sized print of this!

@Viewfinder: Thanks VF - I am very happy with what I captured but must admit that it was a lucky shot - didn't really plan for it to turn out the way that it did (but sometimes that is the best!!).
