After the rain ended on Saturday, I was able to get out and photograph all that had been watered, like this peony in our front yard.
Pay close attention, friend, to what your father tells you; never forget what you learned at your mother's knee. Wear their counsel like flowers in your hair, like rings on your fingers.Proverbs 1:8-9
I am on vacation for a few days and will not be able to comment on your pictures - thanks for stopping by and I will try to catch up when I get back. I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.
I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!

@Craig: Thanks Craig....
It is a beauty and I love the rain drops and the clarity of the shot. Poor flower must have been pelted real good. Hope you cut it and brought it in and put it in a vase.

@Marion: Thanks - actually the flowers were drooping even before the rain - too big for their stems!
Oh pity the poor gardener tending the drooping peony! They are so gorgeous, but so seldom do they dodge the soaking rain that bend them to earth. Lovely shot.

@Judy Andrus Toporcer: Thanks - they are so big they droop even without the rain!
Lovely shot, and lovely flower. Great job.

I love Peonies, but don't have them down here - too hot. They become giant bowls, full of their own petals or rain - she's a beautiful color!

Wow; another awesome shot. I feel like I'm in the grass with the flower; it is so real. You have skills!
