On Saturday afternoon it rained for a bit, with accompaning thunder and winds. Although it meant I was stuck inside, I did get this photo looking out through the window of my wife's studio.
God will provide rain for the seeds you sow. The grain that grows will be abundant. Your cattle will range far and wide. Oblivious to war and earthquake, the oxen and donkeys you use for hauling and plowing will be fed well near running brooks that flow freely from mountains and hills. Better yet, on the Day God heals his people of the wounds and bruises from the time of punishment, moonlight will flare into sunlight, and sunlight, like a whole week of sunshine at once, will flood the land.Isaiah 30:23-26
I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.

Love the texture and the lurking shadows behind!

@Craig: Thanks - the lurking shadow is only a pine tree, but it does look a little ominous....
Most of the storms that day did go south of us, we even had a few breaks of sun! This does look exactly like Saturday felt when it rained! Nice shot.

@Betty: Thanks Betty....
Blech. Not the picture...that is a beautiful abstract reminding us that water is necessary for that gorgeous green background, but the rain itself! I've had enough of it here!

@Tracey: Rain can make for some good shots though - keep that in mind!!
No fair! You're getting all the rain up there and we need it down here soooo badly! Good use of an indoor day, Chris. That is a remarkable shot - a beautiful green.

@Judy: Thank you Judy - most of the spring it was actually dry but we have had a few days of rain.... Hope you get some soon....
Really nice work on this screen and glass. The raindrops are a good addition.

@Viewfinder: Thank you VF - did you notice the screen was crooked?!?!?
A wonderful abstract and you know how much I like green. Love the screen image and the raindrops. There is beauty all around us.
