horsetail falls

Posted by Chris (South Jersey, United States) on 22 May 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

Another waterfall in the Columbia River Gorge of Oregon. This one called Horsetail Falls because of the shape of the waterfall as it bounces off the rock.

The shape of this waterfall is created by the rock that confines it, and so we may often be shaped by those things around us in the world that confine or restrict us. But God wants us to rise above the things of this world - He knows a better way.

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 2 Corinthians 4:8-10

I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.

I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!
