The water falling over the edge at Latourell Falls in the Columbia River Gorege made wonderful patterns as the wind blew around the water and created mist.
It reminds me a bit of how we need to allow God's wind (His pneuma, His Spirit) to make beautiful patterns in our lives - the beauty can be amazing as long as we don't fight it and allow Him to work in us....
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.Romans 12:2
I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.
Please give me your constructive comments - I do appreciate your input!
I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!

@Judy: Thanks Judy - this is that fast shutter speed I promised you!!
very beautiful; perfectly captured. my one suggestion: go black & white. the bit of green color in the lower left is distracting (especially since it is o muted). otherwise, perfect!

@paulski: Thanks for your comment and suggestion - on my monitor at home the green wasn't that distracting, and I did play around with desaturating the image a bit but wasn't as happy with the result. thank you so much for your input!!
Wow! Powerful image. And great choice of verses.

@Mandy: Thank you Mandy for your kind comment - I know in my own life I need to sometimes get out of the way and let God work in my life, but I am too much of a control freak for my own good!!
That really is a very stunning image, love the fall of water and the contrast. Apologies for not visiting lately, I have been living on my boat, which doesn't have internet access, so can only get on the net about once a week.

@Richard_Irwin: Thank you very much Richard - your comments are always welcome (when you can get to the internet!). Must be nice to live on a boat (but probably only when the weather is nice). Thanks again!
A nice coincidence with what we both chose to feature for today's post. I love the animation that has been captured in the "falling waters." Nice contrast as well.
