There is nothing quite as relaxing as going for a long walk on the beach, listening to the sound of the birds and the wind, with the waves gently pressing against the shore.
Taken at Smith Beach, on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.
Please give me your constructive comments - I do appreciate your input!
I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!
I am on vacation now and do not have access to the internet, so I cannot thank you for your comments or comment on your images - I will try to catch up when I get back. Thanks!
A perfect perspective taking in one very big view. The steps lead me right through the shot, and the tones and focussing are spot on 100%

@Betty: Thank you very much Betty
A wonderful image, Chris, and with a level horizon, one of my pet peeves when some don't correct that. I hope you and your girls are offering your wife a special Mother's Day.

@Judy: Thanks Judy - horizons are my thing as well (ask VF!). I actually didn't have to straighten this one but found it was curved from the lens in my camera and had to do a distortion correction in PaintShop Pro. We are having a big family even today for mother's day but we will try to spoil my wife as well. Hope your day is good - I know this Mother's day will probably be hard for you - God bless....
The small aperture you used here worked well. Powerful quote!

@Craig: Thank you - I tried a couple different apertures but this one worked the best. It isn't always easy to walk in the footsteps that God leaves for us, but it is generally the best way....
Excellent perspective, and the chosen color is great.
