Looking up at treetops, adjusted in PaintShop Pro.
In that day the Branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory of the survivors in Israel. It will be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and rain.Isaiah 4:2,6
I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.
Please give me your constructive comments - I do appreciate your input!
I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!
I am on vacation now and do not have access to the internet, so I cannot thank you for your comments or comment on your images - I will try to catch up when I get back. Thanks!
I love this. Do you like Paint Shop Pro? Have you had it long? I have version XI at my office and have been thinking about getting one for home. I'm not altogether comfortable with Adobe (not techie enough) yet to be sure, but I think I know it a little better than I do paint shop. So your opinion matters to me.
This is a great photo, btw.

@Viewfinder: Thanks for your kind words VF - I bought PSP version 6 a long time ago, and came to use it quite a bit for graphics and basic photo manipulation. I then bought version X when it came out and have continued to use it and learn more and more how to use it over the years. I do like it - I believe it has many of the same features as Photoshop, but it certainly is a lot cheaper ($50 vs. $700?). I just got Photoshop Elements and have started using that a little more, but some effects (like the chrome one I used here) I like in PSP and will continue to use. The horizon straightening tool is really easy to use in PSP - just draw a line on the horizon and click on the check and it straightens the picture for you (you know I had to mention that, didn't you!!).
That's a neat conversion, the detail of the tree's is surprisingly good.

You have certainly given those trees an intensity within what becomes almost an abstract. I like the strength of this.
