This is Grapeland, one of the houses we toured while visiting the Eastern Shore of Virginia. A beautiful house with wonderful grounds, and amazing period furnishings.
God is building a home. He's using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he's using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together.Ephesians 2:20
I am on vacation for a few days and will not be able to comment on your pictures - thanks for stopping by and I will try to catch up when I get back. I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.
I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!

@Viewfinder: How can you tell - I don't see a horizon and you are assuming that the house isn't falling over.....
Thanks for keeping me humble.......
I am a lover of old brickwork, and part of me wants to see this in color, but you've done a wonderful job on this in black and white!

@Judy: Thanks Judy - I kind of felt like a series of B&W and thought that this subject lent itself to b&w. Maybe you'll see some color down the road.....
Wonderful perspective to this shot, and the high contrast looks good.

@danthro: Thank you for the feedback - I used an infrared effect in PSP and it looked good on one computer monitor but then not as good on the other one.....I think I need to do an adjustment on that monitor.
