pink magnolia

Posted by Chris (South Jersey, United States) on 10 April 2008 in Plant & Nature.

Although there is quite a bit of color already at Winterthur (where we went last Saturday to enjoy the spring weather), there is quite a bit more that is close. These magnolia blossoms are close to blooming - when they have fully bloomed the colors in the garden will change (and I will have to go back to visit again!).

I will sing for joy in God,
explode in praise from deep in my soul!
He dressed me up in a suit of salvation,
he outfitted me in a robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom who puts on a tuxedo
and a bride a jeweled tiara.
For as the earth bursts with spring wildflowers,
and as a garden cascades with blossoms,
So the Master, God, brings righteousness into full bloom
and puts praise on display before the nations.

Isaiah 61:10-11

I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.

I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!
