If I were this bird, I am sure that I would be too scared to try and move once I found myself in this thorn bush. But he didn't pay attention to the thorns at all - he knows that there is a way out and that he can fly away if he needs to.
No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he'll never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it.1 Corinthians 10:13
I am on vacation for a few days and will not be able to comment on your pictures - thanks for stopping by and I will try to catch up when I get back. I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.
I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!

@rain girl: Thank you - I cropped it a bit to put the bird in the right spot, and I am pretty happy with how it turned out.
As I see, you and the bird had a long and interesting talk. Wonderful post.

@Graça B.: No, we didn't talk! But I imagined what it would be like to be him!!
Nicely illustrated.

@Tracey: Thanks - took this on Easter and it was very sunny out...
That is quite some thicket he has himself into. But, those birds are tricky. He will get himself out easier than most predators can get in. Cool shot Chris!

@Craig: It looks bad to us - but not so bad to him. If only we could see things the way the bird does....
Very nice shot, I like the composition!
