the sound of music

This past weekend my eldest daughter Samantha performed in her final high school musical as "Maria" in The Sound of Music. Over the next few days I will show some of the photos I took during the show.

This is the opening of the show, as Maria sings "The Sound of Music" as she strolls in the Austrian Mountains. She is a postulant in the local monestary but really is too much of a free spirit to be cooped up and enjoys singing in the open spaces.

Shout for joy, O heavens; rejoice, O earth; burst into song, O mountains! For the LORD comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones. Isaiah 49:13

I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.
