walnut sunset

Posted by Chris (South Jersey, United States) on 9 March 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

A winter sunset taken through the black walnut tree in my back yard, taken last week.

When I take a decent picture, I am a little proud of what I have done - it is nice to spend some energy on something creative and realize some beauty from it. When I look at what God has created with the trees, the clouds, and how He turns it into such amazing beauty, I am amazed. And then to think that He cares more about me than these created things - well that is beyond amazing.

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?
Psalm 8:3-4

I am on vacation for a few days and will not be able to comment on your pictures - thanks for stopping by and I will try to catch up when I get back.
I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.

I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!
