frozen

While on our photo adventure, my daughter and I came across this rather ordinary looking puddle; that upon further inspection revealed a wonderful arrangement of leaves and ice. This ordinary puddle contained amazing shapes, reflections, and textures - and we spent a long time admiring and photographing this puddle.

I am constantly amazed at what beauty God can create in even ordinary things - kind of like what He can do in our lives if we just get out the way and let Him work.

No one can escape the weather—it's there. And no one can escape from God. It's God's breath that forms the ice, it's God's breath that turns lakes and rivers solid. And yes, it's God who fills clouds with rainwater and hurls lightning from them every which way. He puts them through their paces—first this way, then that— commands them to do what he says all over the world. Whether for discipline or grace or extravagant love, he makes sure they make their mark. Job 37:7, 10-13

I am on vacation for a few days and will not be able to comment on your pictures - thanks for stopping by and I will try to catch up when I get back.
I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.

I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!
