angel wing

I am not sure of the "official" name for this shell, but we call them Angel Wings. They are very delicate and not all that common to find on the beach - but if you keep your eye open while on the beach you may stumble across one. Another wonderful part of God's creation.

"Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it." Hebrews 13:2

I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.

@Laurent: Thank you - I had a few others that didn't quite work as well. The bubble kind of helped the composition.

Wonderful Angel Wing, Chris, and I especially love the whole bubble next to it. Beach foam can reveal many wonderful surprises ........ if we use the eyes God gave us!

@Judy: Thanks Judy - patience and persistence paid off for this picture - I have about 6-7 of the same shot that didn't quite work (too much water, not enough water, bad shadows, focus off, etc).

I keep going to the community site and this one keep catching my eye. I love the how sometimes the little things can make us appreciate the bigger thing, if you know what I mean...Great shot!
