"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:19-21
So many people in the world measure their worth by the house they own, or the car they drive, or the job they have. But in the end, "He who dies with the most toys, still dies".
Leave your mark on the world beyond the mark on your headstone - leave it on the hearts of those around you.
I am on vacation for a few days and will not be able to comment on your pictures - thanks for stopping by and I will try to catch up when I get back. I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.
I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!

I like that saying, "He who dies with the most toys, still dies"! That is a great one liner and makes one think! And, it really goes well with your photo! Do you mind if I steal that one liner from you? :0)

@Craiger: I am glad you like that saying, but I can't take credit for it. I think I heard it as part of a financial study course that was based on biblical principles. One of the other sayings that I remember from that course, that is based on the scripture that I quoted, was "You can't take it with you, but you can send it on ahead". I am glad the saying made you think - that is what I am trying to do a bit with my photos.
I like the sepia effect.

Nice one! And the sentiment is most fitting!

Chris, a very thought-provoking image and commentary you've provided today. As I tell some of my friends, "100% of us will not make it out of this life alive" (in the physiological sense)...

Thank you for your comment on my photo, I do like your use of sepia also, very nice image. I like the shadows falling on the tombstones behind.
