quiet waters

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. Psalm 23:1-3a

I managed to get out on New Years day to take a few pictures before the batteries in my camera died (note to self: take extra batteries along!). The sky was starting to clear and the wind was still calm, and I stumbled across this peaceful scene in one of the tributaries of the Delaware River.

I adjusted the photo a bit in PaintShop Pro to more accurately reflect the colors. Please feel free to offer suggestions and comments!

I am on vacation for a few days and will not be able to comment on your pictures - thanks for stopping by and I will try to catch up when I get back.
