First Presbyterian Church in Salem, NJ - also my first post here on Am3. Taken Dec 1 2007 while on the Salem Christmas house tour with my Kodak EasyShare (because I didn't feel like lugging around my SLR).

I am on vacation for a few days and will not be able to comment on your pictures - thanks for stopping by and I will try to catch up when I get back. I hope that I can become a better photographer with the examples here on Am3 and by getting your feedback on my images.
I may not be able to reply to each of your comments - but they mean a lot to me and I thank you!

@MaryB: Thank you Mary - we have some historic things in my area but nothing compared to your part of the world (I remember being in a 1000 year old church in Devon years ago).
I like the repeating patterns and the light!

@Anita: Thanks, the light on the steeple is what caused me to take the picture - it was that magical color that you see just before the sun sets.
I came back to see the larger image here. This truly is a magnificent capture! Is that your home town?

@Judy: I actually live a few miles north of Salem city, in an area that is predominately farmland. The inside of the church is also very pretty, with wonderful curved pews for the sanctuary, which is on the 2nd floor (kind of unusual). Thanks for your comments!
